Full Count...Full Belly

How does that song go...? Take me out to the ball game, buy me some popcorn, cotton candy, pizza, soda and souveniers. Maybe not, but that's what Ryan got (actually he thought he got soda but since he pointed to iced tea he lost out on the soda).

We were nervous about the rain, but it was fine the whole time. Maybe a bit chilly. And Ryan, just shy of 7yrs old, was an amazing sport. Even after arriving 2 hours early to the stadium and dealing with a long drive up and back he seemed to have a great time. Who wouldn't when you take home a nice souvenior bat with a replica signature of Gary Shefield. It's a collectors item.

As for me, I had a great time too. And I'd be lying if I said it wasn't all the more sweeter to see the Yanks lose. Go Sox!

The Analysis of Distraction

I basically put myself on lockdown until I finally take this exam I've been studying for (June 3rd - 22 days away if anyone's counting). No going out and no new plans. Besides work picking up speed, it seems like I keep coming up with everything to do besides study. Starbucks is a great no-distraction place, but they are only open until 10. After that I'm free to: blog (granted I haven't done this much), paint my nails, surf the net, clean out my closet, fold my laundry, watch HBO ondemand, dust, take a nap, burn a cd for my sister, check the weather, ...

Hey, if things don't go well with the exam at least my toiletries, socks and shoes are all in perfect order.

Wardrobe Emergency

I've had five different outfits on already. It's kind of hard to decide what to wear so early in the night, but I'm meeting a friend for a movie and then heading out. It seems like I've been rotating the same things every weekend and I feel like it's getting obvous.

Either I need some new clothes or I need... hmmm I can't think of anything to go there. I guess I just need new clothes.
