February 25, 2006No Rain on My Parade
Not a drop of rain fell on me during my trip to Seattle. I did a little walking, site seeing, wine tasting and relaxing. I took the redeye back home, which was 45 mins late and upon arrival zipped straight to work (still carrying my suitcase and with a slight case of airplane bedhead). I suffered through the last portion of the day but it was totally worth it. Check out some of the other photos from the trip here.

February 12, 2006At least it's not snowing
I heard the rumors that we were going to get some snow but I was expecting a quick dusting and then the blacktop would keep the snow from sticking. Instead, we had the largest dumping ever on record (26.9 inches). I had a few New Zealand friends visiting (well, really they are living in Colorado but I met them in New Zealand and that just sounds cooler) and so we ran around town to take it all in. We checked out Central Park, checked out some warm cocco, the Brooklyn Bridge (that's this photo) and even caught a look at the statue of liberty at nightfall. It was beautiful to see everything so crisp and clean. Check out some of the other photos from the day here
