October 31, 2005Halloween in GothamI had my first taste of Halloween in the big city and whooped it up on Friday and Saturday. We were pretty fortunate to have an extra hour to party but I still managed to sleep most of Sunday away. I woke up at the unbelievable hour of 2pm! On my way home today I saw a few poodle skirts, a vampire and a mummy. Oh and a few kids were dressed up too.

October 09, 2005VengenceMy little Nissan must have felt neglected because I left it down at my parents while I've been making a living in the big city. On my way back home I was going to save a bit cash and drive most of the way. That plan backfired bigtime when I was on the highway and the car was suddenly giving up. Everytime I stepped on the brakes, I lost the radio, windshield wipers and lights. If only we didn't have to brake, but I was on 95 south so that was impossible. In the end, my scheme to save money costed me quite a bit because I don't have AAA and so paid for the tow truck with cold hard cash. Maybe instead of fixing it, I'll get a community car.

I'm Just Crackers about CheeseI went up to see my sister and her family this past weekend. I have been so excited about seeing the Wallace and Gromit movie and had the perfect cover. My newphew is six years old. There was no arm twisting needed to bring him to the theatre. It was a great film, full of surprises (and adult humor). Highly recommended!
