Do we need to wash?

Look how dirty my car is!!! I am so jealous of all those folks who drove in to work last week with clean cars. You can always tell who houses their car in a garage and who is stuck, like me, keeping it in a parking lot. The worst part about our parking lot is the birds. There are thousands of crows that nest in the tree right above our parking spot and they literally seem to think the roof of my car is a good toilet. I have had to take it through the car was multiple times to get off what they dispose of. One time they even hit my door handle! Yuck!

Went to work today, but it was kind of a wierd day, so I only stayed for a few hours. It is hard to get motivated on a holiday because everyone you need to talk to seems to be on vacation. When you are in an information driven business, it becomes quite difficult to get anything accomplished. Too bad my powerball ticket didn't win me that $110 million dollar payout. I saw on a billboard the other day that the jackpot is down to $12 million - that is probably only a payout of 7 million. (only, yeah right). But it just doesn't seem worth it anymore.

Ready for 2000-Three?

Today is an early post. I don't have to leave for work till 9:00. Yeah! I love when that happens and you get an extra couple of minutes to do whatever. I slept so horribly last night that I considered laying down for an extra 20 mintues, but I think that would be a bad idea. Another week begins, but if this one is anything like last week it is ok. Last week was so strange with the holiday in the middle, but it was fun. I like breaking up the week like that.

I haven't prepared myself for writing 2003 on my checks.
